ASICS – LA Marathon
The Challenge
More than 25,000 people compete in the LA marathon each year. As a nationally broadcasted event, ASICS wanted to show Los Angeles, and the world just exactly big 26.22 miles was.
The Solution
GDX illuminated the Los Angeles skyline with a band of lights, strategically placed along the marathon route. Marking every mile from Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica.
Additionally. ASICS hosted at a high profile part in the Hollywood Hills with breathtaking panoramic views spanning from the inland foothills to the Pacific Ocean.
The magnitude of this activation gained global recognition, as proved by the 7.5 million impressions on Twitter and the #2 trending spot that evening.
